Misha's Bottega is more than a business—it's a dream come true.

Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.

“Misha” is a childhood nickname given to me by my little brother, who struggled to pronounce “Michele,” and it has stayed with me ever since. Using this name for my business is a nod to my childhood and to the family and friends who supported my art journey long before there was a shop, a website, or even a single customer.

 

“Bottega” is the Italian word for “shop,” chosen in honor of my loud, loving New York-Italian family—whose encouragement and love have shaped me in every way.

I truly would not be here without the Lord. He is the One who gave me my gifts, passions, and the family I've been so blessed to grow up with. He is my greatest inspiration and my constant in every season. My desire is that everything I create would point back to my Creator.

 

A verse I've claimed for my life is 1 Thessalonians 5:24 "Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it." This reminds me that if God called me to something, HE will be the One to carry it out, and all I have to do is step forward in faith.

I would be remiss not to mention my best friend and love of my life, Drew. He works tirelessly to provide for us and makes it possible for me to pursue this dream. When I’m not creating, you can usually find me homemaking. It’s a joy and a privilege to create a cozy, peaceful space and to use that part of my life as a small way of saying thank you to Drew for all that he does.

 

Beyond being my biggest supporter, Drew is also a talented designer (SCORE!). He helps with so much behind the scenes at Misha's Bottega, filling in the gaps where my design skills fall short, and he proudly serves as the happiest unpaid employee at every market. ;)
